Earth Day is coming

The Library is celebrating Earth Day (April 22) during the entire month of April. Every week we’ll have a new display of books in our front lobby – this week we are featuring books on green business to tie in with the 2009 International Trade Conference, Trade and the Environment: the Value Proposition of Greening a Business, Friday, April 17, 8:30AM-5:00PM at the Irvine Auditorium. Green tip of the week: Recycling your batteries is easy! Just drop them off at the Library – we have a container for recycling batteries on the table near the front lobby.
