CFL light bulbs use 75% less energy than regular incandescent bulbs, last up to 10 times longer, save 2,000 times their weight in greenhouse gases, and must be disposed of properly. Now you no longer need to worry about where to dispose of these &#8220;GREEN&#8221; bulbs: just look for BLUE.

<p>Blue buckets with white lids have been placed in 5 areas on campus: the 1st floor of the library, Samson Reading Room, the GSIPS desk and FGSIB main desk, and in Office Services. Just put your used CFLs in these containers and you can be assured that they will be disposed of properly.</p>
<p>Also, don&#8217;t forget that you can recycle your dead batteries at several locations on campus including those mentioned above. 		<description><![CDATA[After almost 25 years, we have finally retired our antiquated security gate.  When you walk into the library, you&#8217;ll see a new gate that allows you to enter or exit through either door.    The front doors may now be opened automatically using the buttons located inside and outside the library.
