It would be great to have an email response after submitting a purchase request to let me know: 1. request received 2. general sense of how much time this will take and 3. human contact or other means to track progress of the request. Thanks!

Provide a form on the MC Libraries website to report a missing book.
I’ve received a request that we provide an option to submit suggestions privately. Some people don’t want everyone else to know what they want!
Some computers don’t display the right time — it’s confusing!
We should have Microsoft Office on the walk-up computers.
Be more Vista-friendly (it’s not our fault we got stuck with a useless OS).
How about some USB turntables to play some of those wonderful old LP’s in Special Collections? They are reasonably cheap, easy to transport and very functional.

The Manga section is really lacking. (3 requests)
Better selection of light reading fiction books. ( 3 requests)
More browsing movies so you can take them out of the library. (16 requests) We should also have some screenplays.
We need the most up-to-date software on the computers.
We should be able to check out laptop locks.
