This year marked an important turning point in what has become an impressive rugby tradition here at Middlebury. Building on our past success at the Division II level (with 2 national championships in the past 5 years), this season we moved up to Division I. Not surprisingly, the competition was tougher than what we’ve experienced before. After a slow start, however, we stepped up our game and showed that we can indeed compete at this level. You should be proud, as we are, at the character our boys displayed, time and again.

Thank you all so much for your continued support of the MCRC! It has been great to hear from so many of you, and we are looking forward to catching up with many more Middlebury ruggers over the coming months. The team is doing great and really enjoying our outdoor practices. There is tremendous focus and determination from the younger players to raise their game and continue the tradition of excellence that is a trademark of the MCRC. We have an exciting spring schedule of 15′s and 7′s and we hope to see you all at our spring matches!
