Things That Happened, Things To Do—Week of 3/15

Each Monday, the editors at Dispatches  offer a recap of things that happened over the weekend and a look ahead at what’s going on this week on campus. We hope to point you toward links that you may not have seen, alert you to events that you won’t want to miss, and call your attention to items that captured ours. Enjoy.

  • The men’s hockey team ended its season abruptly and with disappointment when Plattsburgh’s Jared Docking netted an overtime goal in the NCAA quarterfinal match-up last Saturday at The Chip. The Panthers finished the season with a record of 19-5-4.
  • Middlebury’s Alexander Twilight Artist-in-Residence Francois Clemmons will join with friends to present a St. Patrick’s Day concert on Wednesday. If you’re in the area, this is an event not to be missed.
  • The Study Abroad Photo Exhibit is on display at 51 Main during the month of March.  The exhibition features 25 photos, culled from more than 250 submissions, taken by students during their time abroad in 2008 and 2009.
