Davis UWC Scholars Program Turns Ten
The Davis United World College Scholars Program celebrated its tenth anniversary last week.
As the world’s largest privately funded international scholarship program for undergraduate students, the Scholars Program provides need-based aid to 2,000+ students at more than 90 participating colleges and universities.
Middlebury was one of the five pilot institutions when the Program launched in 2000, and now also serves as the home to the Program’s offices. In celebration of the Scholars Program’s tenth anniversary, the College played host to a panel discussion last week with co-founders Shelby Davis and Phil Geier, as well as three Davis Scholar alums.
A short video recapping the event can be found above. Photo galleries are also available, and a longer video will be posted later in the week.
