Assistant women’s lacrosse coach Reid Berrien remembers when she first held a lacrosse stick and knew she’d never let go.

She also remembers the really cool older kids who instilled in her that love for the sport. So when the opportunity arose for her to build on the Middlebury tradition of athletes volunteering their time to work with young people in the community, she didn’t miss a beat.

Every Monday for six weeks this spring, Berrien and a handful of men and women lacrosse players take to the field behind Kenyon to get a big group of local kids excited about a sport they live and love.
