Is your research tied to a place? The most efficient way to tell your audience where could be to display the information on a map. Where did the event occur? Where did you gather your biological specimens? Where did you make your observations?
Learn how to include a simple map in your poster or presentation by attending a workshop or by meeting with a tutor for individual assistance.
Workshops:
- Attend a workshop on creating simple maps; consult the LIS Workshops schedule early in the spring semester for dates and times
Individual Assistance:
- Request an appointment with a Digital Media Tutor who specializes in maps and geospatial data by writing to digitalmediatutors@middlebury.edu. Tutor hours: 1pm-1am Sunday through Thursday; 1-7pm on Friday.
